Call for Abstracts

Participants wishing to give an oral presentation or display a poster must submit a summary to be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts should be written in English only. Upon receipt of the abstract, the Scientific Committee will decide on the form of the presentation (oral presentation or poster).
All participants whose abstracts will be accepted by the Scientific Committee must register and pay the registration fee to be able to participate and present their abstracts. The registration fee will depend on the date of sending the abstract.

Instructions for writing and submitting abstracts

Participants wishing to give an oral presentation or display a poster must submit a summary to be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts should be written in English only. Upon receipt of the abstract, the Scientific Committee will decide on the form of the presentation (oral presentation or poster).

The lead author must ensure that all co-authors are familiar with the content of the abstract before sending it to the congress agency, Meetme, and with any further communication related to the abstract.

Instructions for writing abstracts

  • the abstract should be written in English
  • abstract scope: up to 350 words
  • maximum 10 co-authors
  • text of the abstract: objectives, materials and methods, results and conclusion
  • original abstracts will not be proofread, the author is responsible for language and content correctness
  • A previously published abstract will not be accepted
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts

Please follow the step-by-step instructions for submitting abstracts. Please do not send more copies of the same summary.
You will receive confirmation that your abstract has been submitted for evaluation.

Posters

  • All posters will be displayed in electronic form (e-posters) on monitors• Please create e-posters in English
  • presentation format is a PDF document measuring 900 x 1600 pixels (vertical format), file size must be less than 20 MB
  • The e-poster must contain only ONE slide showing the entire contents of the poster
  • Presentations of e-posters in the specified form should be sent no later than June 15th 15th to the e-mail address: fran@meetme.hr
  • e-posters sent after the specified date will not be accepted for presentation, except in the form of an abstract in the Book of Abstracts
  • for all questions of technical support regarding the creation of an e-poster of the specified format, please contact the same e-mail address
  • recommendations:
    • Avoid capital letters
    • please do not use fonts smaller than 10 pt
    • please use fonts compatible on PC and Mac operating systems (Arial, Courier New, Georgia, Helvetica, Times New Roman)
    • Avoid shading, underlining and mixing different types of letters
